How Kairai processes the personal data of visitors and clients, and what rights you have as a result.
Last updated: July 2026
1. Who is the data controller
The data controller is Kairai ("we", "us"). For any privacy-related matters, you can reach us at vansky@kairai.cz.
2. What data we process
When you contact us through the website's contact form, we process the following data:
- your name or company name,
- email address,
- the content of your message and information about the requested project (project type, rough budget).
The website currently does not use any analytics or marketing cookies. The only thing your browser stores locally is a technical marker that you've already been through the site's intro animation once - this information does not identify you as a person and is never sent anywhere outside your browser.
3. Why we process this data
We process data from the contact form solely so we can respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, prepare a collaboration proposal. The legal basis is the negotiation of a contract at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in handling your inquiry (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. How long we keep the data
We keep inquiry data only for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry and any related follow-up communication, for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact, unless a contractual relationship arises between us that requires longer retention (for example, accounting or tax obligations).
5. Who we share data with
Data submitted through the form is processed by our technical provider, who runs the system we use to manage inquiries and website content on our behalf. This provider only has access to the data for the purpose of technical operation and may not use it for any other purpose. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Your rights
In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:
- access your personal data,
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data,
- request erasure ("the right to be forgotten"),
- request restriction of processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at vansky@kairai.cz. If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you have the right to file a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.cz), or with your local data protection authority.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or third-party services to the website. The current version is always available on this page.
